S’moreables Gluten-Free Crackers

by Kinnikinnick Foods.

These are our new alternative to our original alternative (New Morning Honey Graham) to traditional graham crackers.
They are much denser than traditional graham crackers and the New Morning Honey Grahams but they taste comparable.
They are much smaller and there are way, way fewer in the package than the two mentioned above so I ration these like I ration the EnviroKidz bars.

Kinnikinnick has a graham style animal cookie that I’m thinking may be a little cheaper so I won’t feel the need to ration as much. We’ll be trying those soon.

Like the Kinnikinnick animal cookies, these are dairy free and nut free, as well.

KinniKritters Animal Cookies

These have been with us way before we went gluten-free.  I was in search of an animal cracker that did not contain high-fructose corn syrup when I found these.

KinniKritters animal cookies come in chocolate, vanilla, and graham.  Boe likes the chocolate best but will eat both.  I think the vanilla tastes like cookie dough – yum! We have not tried the graham variety but definitely will soon!

As with all of our snacks, these have no high fructose and contain no hydrogenated oils.  They are also dairy free and nut free for kids that are restricted in that way.

Kinnikinnick also makes our new alternative to graham crackers (S’moreables).

EnviroKidz Crispy Rice Bars

These are on the top of Boe’s gluten-free favorites list.

These are dessert to him. He hums when he eats them, he always asks for seconds, and he even asks for them on days when he can have gluten-full foods.

Like his new favorite cereal (Gorilla Munch), they are by Nature’s Path Foods and have no artificial dyes.

These are more expensive than our regular Kashi cereal bars so they are rationed but they’re snacks so they should be, right?

EnviroKidz Gorilla Munch Cereal

Gluten-Free, organic, snack-able, and now a favorite of Boe’s.

He hums when he’s munching on these.

EnviroKidz by Nature’s Path Foods has a number of yummy snacks
and healthy food.

Life – Minus the Artificial Dyes

I found it – Barbara’s Shredded Spoonfuls Multigrain Cereal!

I recently posted about my shock and disappointment when I bothered to read the label on the box of my favorite cereal (Life) and discovered that my beautiful brown, naturally-looking breakfast cereal contained artificial colors (yellow #5 and yellow #6).  I had tried a number of healthy alternatives but none had the flavor of Life cereal.

So, my cereal search is over.  Barbara’s Shredded Spoonfuls Multigrain Cereal is terrific!  Same texture, same flavor without the artificial colorants.  I love it and, more importantly, Boe loves it!

Oh, and no BHT either – yay!

Back To Nature Peanut Butter Creme Cookies

Boe’s new favorite! Move over Classic Cremes. These are our new eat-a-few-more-bites bribe. Like the Classic Cremes by Back To Nature, they have no high fructose and no hydrogenated oils. I like them much more than any other peanut butter cookie I’ve had – even homemade.

Midel Lemon Snap Cookies

All Natural Snack CookiesYet another favorite of Boe’s – can you tell we snack alot?  The Midel Lemon Snaps have a light lemon flavor and are a nice size for snacking.  They are our travel cookie because they won’t make a huge mess if dropped in the car.  They have no high fructose or hydrogenated oils and the ingredients are all natural.  Midel has a number of gluten-free products, as well; which is how I found the lemon snaps.

New Morning Honey Grahams

organic honey graham crackers

I found these graham crackers in my little health food store at about the same time that I found the vanilla wafers.  Boe tried them a few days after the wafers and I think they bumped the wafers out of second place (Back To Nature Classic Cremes are holding 1st place).

The New Morning Honey Grahams by Attune Foods are organic and don’t have any hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup.  Boe loves these plain or with peanut butter (again – natural (2 ingredients maximum)) and will go through a package (there are 3 packages per box) in 2-3 days.  I will be ordering these by the case soon. They are a little cheaper on Amazon than my local store.

These are a bit too crumbley for the car so we have the Graham Sticks for travel.

Country Choice Snacking Vanilla Wafers

I just found these – Country Choice Snacking Vanilla Wafers.  Boe LOVES them!!  I spread peanut butter (the natural stuff – max. 2 ingredients) on them and he’s goes into a full hum. I serve them to him plain when we’re traveling and/or using the OnTray snack holder.
I can only find these at my little health food store but they can be ordered from the Country Choice site - not carrying them on Amazon.  As with all our snacks, they have no hydrogenated oil or high fructose.  Yay!
